Maria Malmer Stenergard hosts meeting with Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen
SWEDEN, January 23 - Topics of discussion included the importance of jointly addressing a changing world with likeminded, Allies and partners in the Nordic region, the EU and NATO. Ms Malmer Stenergard expressed her wholehearted support for Denmark and Greenland.
Security in the Arctic was also discussed. Sweden and Denmark support the initiatives now being taken to strengthen NATO’s collective presence and role in the Arctic, and to constrain Russia.
After the meeting, Ms Malmer Stenergard and Mr Løkke Rasmussen held a joint press briefing.
